Why Royal Blue Art Is Korea’s Answer to US Art School Admissions

QUICK ANSWER

Every academy says it is the best. We would rather show what can be checked. Royal Blue Art & Design has prepared students for U.S. art schools from Apgujeong for 19 years. Our public record lists 1,099 acceptances at 95 schools from 2009 to 2026, each confirmed directly with the student, with scholarship counts by school and the sample size next to every average.

About half of our students are Korean students at American middle and high schools who return to Seoul during school breaks to prepare portfolios; the other half study in Korea. That shapes how we plan the calendar.

How We Work

  1. Rules first. We check each school’s current requirements every cycle, such as portfolio ranges, observation rules, AI policies and English minimums.
  2. The student’s own subjects. Schools such as RISD ask for work with a point of view; we build portfolios from the student’s interests, not from sample templates.
  3. Lists built on funding data. Award rates in our record range from 6% at RISD to 82% at Otis, so we plan lists with cost in mind.
  4. School stability. We track closures and financial warnings, such as CCA’s closure at the end of 2026–27.

CHECK US THE SAME WAY

Ask us what you would ask any academy: counts by school and year, how they were verified, and how we would plan your child’s list. Our guides on checking acceptance claims and our record explain the method.
